Two in custody after attack

TWO men have been remanded in custody over a 28-year-old attack victim.

The unnamed man had back injuries when police and ambulance teams found him in a Gillingham flat.

The two were named as Markus Bray, 20, of White Road, Chatham and Glen McAdam, 26, of New Addington, Croydon.

Both are charged with possessing a knife - an offensive weapon - and causing grievous bodily harm with intent.

The Canterbury Street house was cordoned off throughout Friday morning while police combed the scene for evidence.

Two others who were arrested at the same time - a man and a woman, both aged 25 - were released without charge.
