Two men have been charged in connection with the attempted theft of lead from a church.

Police were called to St Mary's Church, West Malling at 10pm on Sunday after reports that lead was being taken from the roof.

Liam Price, 22, of Eleanor Drive, Milton Regis, Sittingbourne and a 17-year-old boy from East Malling have both been charged with attempted theft and bailed to appear at Sevenoaks Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, November 11.
