Police have arrested four people following a robbery in Tunbridge Wells yesterday afternoon.

The driver of a Post Office van was threatened by two men on Summervale Road at 2.30pm.

They stole cash from the back of the van and escaped in a silver car, thought to be a Ford.

Police believe this vehicle was later found dumped and on fire in Major York’s Road, opposite the cricket ground.

No one was seriously hurt in the incident, and police are appealing for witnesses.
