Tunbridge traders get web-wise

INFORMATION about shops and businesses in Tunbridge Wells is now available on a new website.

The site - www.shopintunbridgewells.com - features details of 700 traders and has been jointly funded by the borough council and Kent County Council.

All shop-fronted businesses in the town centre can have their names and addresses included free of charge.

Logos can also be included for a one-off fee of £10, and for a similar charge, more detailed descriptions can be featured.

Businesses already on the Internet can be linked to the new website which features maps and car parks.

It is hoped the new facility will boost trade and tourism in Tunbridge Wells.
