Top footballer on rape charge

A PREMIERSHIP footballer living in Beckenham has been charged with the rape of a 21-year-old woman.

Graham Stack, 23, goalkeeper for Arsenal and currently on loan to Millwall, allegedly carried out the attack at his flat, in Coper’s Cope Road, on Wednesday.

He is due to appear on bail before Bromley magistrates next Tuesday.

Stack, a former U-21s Republic of Ireland international, was charged on Wednesday.

Another man, Allan Smillie, 22, of Boundaries Road, Feltham, was charged with sexual assault by penetration of a 21-year-old woman at the flat and is due before the same court on the same date.
