Toddler's toilet training seat ordeal

A TODDLER was helped out by firefighters after he got his plastic toilet training seat stuck on his head.

The three-year-old was taken by his mother and grandmother to Medway Fire Station in the hope a crew would be able to free him from his dilemma.

The boy, who is thought to live in Gillingham, was, according to firefighters a real "bonny lad" and didn’t seem to mind the plastic seat being stuck fast to his head.

He and his mum turned up at the station to ask for help at about 7.45pm, on Saturday.

A spokesman for the station, in Watling Street, Chatham, said: "We used a special tool to cut him free from the blue seat and he didn’t flinch a bit, he was a really brave boy.

"His mum was taking pictures on her mobile and was pleased when we got the thing off."
