Thugs steal skateboarder's £400 watch

A YOUNG skateboarder was robbed of an expensive wastch as he played with friends in Margate town centre. The 14-year-old was punched as he skated on the top floor of the College Walk car park.

As he tried to escape his attackers, he fell over. He was threatened with further violence if he didn’t hand over his £400 Seiko Kinetic watch. A sports bag belonging to another skater, who was filming the youngsters in action, was also stolen.

It contained a portable stereo, shoes, clothes and a pair of black and white roller blades worth £200.

The youth who hit the skateboarder skater is said to be 18, stocky, and wore a black baseball cap, puffa jacket and jeans. The robbery happened at 8.30pm on Saturday.
