A 27-year-old man was dragged off the street into a driveway by two robbers who punched him and cut his head with a sharp object.

The assault occurred as the victim was walking in Kent Road at Margate. The thugs stole his carrier bag containing a pair of blue Nike tracksuit bottoms, a can of drink, cigarettes, cash and prescription medicine.

One attacker is said to be in his late 20s, 5ft 10in tall, medium build, with short brown hair. He wore a white tracksuit with bits of blue on it.

The other is in his mid 20s, 5ft 9in tall, stocky, and wore a blue baseball cap, dark blue or black tracksuit bottoms and a light coloured jumper.

The attack happened on Friday, September 2, and anyone who knows the identity of the men or who witnessed the incident is asked to contact Det Sgt Marcus Whitnell at Margate police station on 01843 222 182.
