Three men are being hunted after mobile phones worth £8,000 were stolen from two shops just minutes apart.

The trio are alleged to have taken 18 mobiles from Carphone Warehouse, in Rose Lane, Canterbury, at 6pm yesterday.

Just 40 minutes earlier, the same three are thought to have taken two BlackBerry phones from the Wincheap branch of the same store.

The trio are described as being in their mid to late-20s and spoke with local accents.

Detectives have now released a CCTV image of three men they want to speak to in connection with the thefts.
