Terror suspects remanded in custody

A 22-year-old man from Kent has been remanded in custody after appearing in court charged with terror offences.

Waseem Mughal has been charged with 10 offences including conspiracy to murder and conspiracy to cause an explosion.

Also among the list of charges are conspiracy to cause a public nuisance, conspiracy to obtain money by deception and Terrorism Act offences relating to the possession of articles for terrorist purposes and fundraising.

Waseem Mughal was arrested along with Younis Tsouli, 22, and Tariq Al-Daour, 19, both from London, last month.

They were charged on Friday morning following an investigation by detectives from the Metropolitan Police Anti-Terrorist Branch.

They were remanded until November 18 after appearing at Bow Street magistrates' court on Friday afternoon.
