Teenagers arrested over alleged sex attack

Two teenagers have been arrested following an alleged sexual assault on a 14-year-old girl.

The incident happened at around 10pm on Friday, March 20, in Glenwood Drive, Minster.

The newsroom at the Times Guardian has been inundated with calls from residents who awoke on Saturday morning to discover part of the street taped off.

One witness, who asked to remain anonymous, said: “There were police and vans all over and it was obvious they were looking into something major.”

The 15-year-old and 17-year-old youths have been bailed pending forensic testing until May 27.
