Teenager in hospital following Thanet Way crash

A teenager from Cliftonville is in a stable condition in hospital after the car he was travelling in crashed through a fence and into a hedge on the A299 Thanet Way.

The youngster and three other people were injured when the car left the road near Broomfield, Herne Bay, at 11.40pm last night.

He is currently being treated at the Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother hospital in Margate.

The other occupants of the car suffered minor injuries but have since been released from hospital.
