A teenager is in hospital with serious head injuries following a robbery in Sheerness early today.

At about 1am, a man was approached at the HSBC cashpoint in Trinity Road by two other men who demanded cash.

They walked the man back to his home in nearby Delamark Road where they attacked him and two other men present.

A 19-year-old was badly hurt and taken to hospital where he remains in a serious condition. His injuries are not life threatening.

The two other men in the house suffered minor injuries.

The two robbers left the property with a games console, mobile phones and jewellery.

Police say the injured men knew their attackers.
