Teen charged with body-in-the-boot murder

A teenage girl from Chatham has been charged with murder after a man's body was found in a burnt out car in Blackheath.

Mundill Mahil, of Regent Guest house, Maidstone Road, Chatham, appeared at Greenwich Magistrates Court this morning.

She was charged with the murder of 21-year-old Gagandip Singh, of Bexleyheath.

Another man, Harvinder Singh Shoker, 19, of Charlton, appeared in court on the same charge.

Both have been remanded in custody and will enter pleas at the Old Bailey on June 6.

Mr Singh's body was found in a car in Angerstein Lane, Blackheath on Saturday.

Police arrested a third suspect, a 19-year-old man, on suspicion of murder today.

He is currently being held at a south London police station.
