Tara shares a Lotto cash

A ROYAL Mail delivery officer is in the money after the Lotto syndicate she was in scooped more than £27,000.

Tara Hannington, of Dalton Street, Gillingham, was part of an all-female syndicate at the Rotherhithe office.

Tara, 31, said: "When I transferred from Rotherhithe to Rochester a year ago I decided to keep sending my money up to the syndicate.

"We didn't know we had won for a couple of weeks and when we checked the numbers we thought we had just won £10. It is really exciting and we were drinking champagne all morning."

The seven winners, most of whom live in the London area, met up to celebrate their win.

Tara has decided to buy a car with her winnings and treat her family.
