Suspect Aaron Smith charged with attempted murder in Tunbridge Wells

A 35-year-old man has appeared in court charged with two counts of attempted murder.

Aaron Coco Smith, of no fixed address, has been charged after an incident in Tunbridge Wells in which two men were injured.

He appeared at Maidstone Magistrates Court, where he was remanded in custody.

A 42-year-old woman also arrested in connection with the incident has been bailed pending further investigation.

The charges come after officers were called to an address in Kirkdale Road in the early hours of Friday, April 22, following reports two men had been injured.

A 43-year-old and a 62-year-old were taken to hospital for treatment.
Smith will appear at Maidstone Crown Court for a preliminary hearing on Monday, May 9.
