Struggle to free girls trapped in mud

Two girls had a lucky escape after getting bogged down up to their waists in a muddy field.

The pair were in a field off Faversham Road in Kennington, near Ashford when they got stuck on Sunday evening.

Fortunately, they were able to call for help using a mobile phone - but it took 20 minutes for firefighters to free them.
