Street attack victim knocked unconscious

A MAN was knocked unconscious when he was struck on the back of the head as he walked home after a night out.

The 32-year-old victim was hit as he crossed the road after an argument with occupants of a car.

He had been with friends at the junction of Star Hill and High Street, Rochester, when a car pulled up. A verbal altercation took place before a second car stopped and the row continued.

The man was taken to hospital where he received treatment for a head injury. He remembers nothing else about the incident.
