'Stolen' car careers into 5 parked vehicles

A CAR careered out of control and crashed into five parked vehicles.

The silver Audi Coupe, believed to have been stolen from Thornton Heath in April, crashed in Franklin Road, Penge, Bromley, at 0.50am on Tuesday.

It damaged a parked Toyota, Vauxhall, Peugeot, Daewoo and Ford Transit van.

The driver, a black man of stocky build wearing dark clothing, fled the scene in the direction of Penge High Street.
