Prerserving one of Margate's most spectacular panoramic sea views is a concern for a group of councillors after the appointment of developers for the Rendezvous site.

Gleeson Developments will partner KCC in the regeneration initiative which includes the de-dualling of the road at Fort Hill.

Councillors fear the land created by reducing the road to single carriageway could be used for extra buildings that would blot out the view.
