Southeastern is laying on extra trains for those hoping to catch a glimpse of the Royal Couple on their wedding day.

Kent’s train operator will run a Saturday timetable on the April 29 bank holiday with two additional High Speed services to London in the morning.

Twenty per cent discounts will also be offered on off-peak tickets bought online before the big day when Prince William and Kate Middleton tie the knot.

The extra High Speed services to London will depart from Dover Priory at 7.44am and from Margate at 6.53am.

A Southeastern spokesman said: "There is growing excitement around the country as the wedding approaches and we want to make sure that passengers will be able to get to London quickly and easily.

"We are expecting that the services will be busy, especially in the morning, so would advise that you allow plenty of time.

"It is great that this also coincides with our 20 per cent discount offer so it will be even easier."
