Six hours of fun as Cliftonville does Christmas - big!

Cliftonville will be alive with Christmas spirit on Saturday, December 6, when the community’s Big Christmas Event will be celebrated in Northdown Road from 10am to 4pm with fun for all the family, organised by the Cliftonville Partnership.

Street performers from Starose Theatre Company will entertain while children from Holy Trinity and St John’s Primary School will sing carols outside Distinctions.

There will be more festive sounds from Thanet Concert Brass Band outside Greetings while Santa and his elves will receive young visitors in their grotto at the Belle Vue pub.

He is a busy fellow and will also be found at Cliftonville Children’s Centre in St Paul’s Road where young artists can turn their hand to a colouring competition and have their faces painted too.

St Paul’s Community Centre and Kent Refuge Minority Support Group will set up arts and crafts stalls outside St Paul’s Church and there will be a Mencap singing group and Christmas stall with a performance by St John’s Dance Group.

Look out for Bourne2Perform outside Cliftonville Tile Centre , Pie Factory DJ Mixing outside Cash Maker and the Kidzone Singing Group outside St Paul’s Church.

There will be a prize draw at Soul Presence, mince pies and refreshments at St Paul’s church, mulled wine at the Belle Vue and more.
