A SECOND man has been charged in connection with the shooting of a Kent car dealer.

Lee David Osborne, a 25-year-old DJ from Mottingham, south east London, is accused of assisting alleged murderer John Edward Seton.

Victim Jon Bartlett, a 29-year-old former boxer, lived in Bromley and ran a car repair shop in Erith.

He was killed by a gunshot to the head, in School Road, Chislehurst, on March 31, 2006.

Osborne appeared at Sutton Magistrates' Court on Thursday charged with assisting an offender in relation to the murder of Mr Bartlett and was remanded in custody.

Seton, 24, of no fixed address, had been extradited from Amsterdam, charged with murder and remanded in custody by Croydon magistrates five days earlier.

Both men are due to enter a plea at the Old Bailey in August.
