Lordswood, who had led the Shepherd Neame Kent League Premier Division table at the start of the day, slipped to second place following their 41-run home defeat by Bickley Park on Saturday.

Sussex paceman Amjad Khan claimed 3-53 to help restrict Bickley Park to 206-8, but Lordswood then slumped to 90-6 in reply.

They were given fresh hope by a seventh-wicket stand of 71 between Matt Greenwood (52) and Nathan Moore (38), but when that was broken the tail folded and Lordswood were all out for 165. Phil Browning (4-36) headed an impressive effort by the Bickley attack.

Bexley are the new leaders of the Premier Division following their four-wicket success over Sevenoaks Vine.

After electing to bat Sevenoaks Vine made 205-9 from their 55 overs, Ollie Howick top scoring with 40. The Bexley bowling was steady with Adam Ball (3-42) the most productive. Bexley opener Christopher Laas (50) then became the only half centurion in the match before Jack Bell (38) and Min Patel, with an unbeaten 23, steered Bexley home in the 53rd over.

Blackheath produced a dismal batting display as they slipped to a six-wicket defeat against Tunbridge Wells at the Nevill. Chris Williams and Evert Bekker both took 4-20 as Blackheath were bowled out for just 77 with only David Hammond (34) offering any resistance. Although Wells lost four wickets in passing their modest target, their victory was emphatic.

Bromley, the defending champions, moved up to third place after their winning draw at Hartley Country Club.

After being invited to bat, Bromley set a target of 236-9 thanks mainly to James Butterfill (64) and James Goodman (56). James Cramp was the pick of the Hartley bowlers with 5-40. The home side then lost wickets at regular intervals, with only Jake Hutson (39) and James Thompson (34) scoring over 30 as they meandered to 177-9.

In the clash of the two bottom clubs, Sibton Park moved off the bottom thanks to a 54-run victory at The Mote. Put in to bat, Sibton Park made a respectable total of 223-7 from their 55 overs, Andy Allon top scoring with 70 and Tom Harvey taking 4-52. Allon (5-27) then excelled with the ball as The Mote were bowled out for 169.
