Police are appealing for a witness to come forward after a serious sex attack in a Ramsgate street.

It comes after the assault in Cottage Road, Ramsgate at about midnight on Saturday April 30 2011.

The 37-year-old Broadstairs woman was assaulted by a man she had met earlier in a Ramsgate bar.

As the man fled the witness walked past and said something to the woman as she was picking up her phone.
