CALLUM BERRY: described as a happy boy who loved animals

A BOY of nine has died after being found hanged at his home.

Frantic attempts were made by members of the emergency services to save Callum Berry but he died at Darent Valley Hospital in Dartford.

Callum, who lived at Northfleet, was described by his parents, Adrian and Louise Berry, as a happy little boy who loved animals.

He also leaves two older brothers and a younger sister.

Michael Hickey, head teacher at Lawn Primary School where Callum was a pupil, said: "Our feelings go out to the family at this tragic hour."

The coroner has been informed and an inquest will be held.
