Scheme to increase prosecutions launched

A MAJOR scheme designed to improve the success of police in court prosecutions has been launched in Kent.

Crown prosecutors will now be working more closely with officers to decide on the most appropriate charges to bring against suspects.

The scheme has already been piloted in Kent.
