Saturday's football programme has been hit hard by the onset of wintry weather across the south east.

The day's biggest game - Dover's FA Cup second round tie at home to League 2 Aldershot - has beaten the big freeze with the club covering the Crabble pitch to help avoid the need for a pitch inspection this morning.

In Blue Square Bet South Ebbsfleet United's trip to Hampton & Richmond has fallen foul of the weather, though Dartford and Welling's games are expected to go ahead.

Folkestone Invicta and Maidstone United have seen their Ryman League Premier Division games called-off, while Cray Wanderers' game at Concord Rangers in Essex failed a 1.30pm pitch inspection.

Whitstable Town look set to be the only Kent side to beat the weather in Division 1 South while all but two Kent League games have been postponed.
