All five Kent sides in the Ryman League Premier Division remain winless and occupy five of the bottom seven places in the early-season standings.

Folkestone Invicta bounced back from the 1-0 defeat at Sutton on Saturday with a dour goalless draw at home to Tonbridge Angels on Bank Holiday Monday.

The Kent rivals - winless in three games apiece this season - played out a dour game, but Angels, who were smarting after a third straight defeat on Saturday, 2-1 at home to Harrow Borough, went closest to taking the points.

Invicta keeper Jack Delo produced a fine double save to deny a second-half spot-kick and Folkestone forward Paul Jones spurned two golden chances when clean through as Invicta picked up their second point in four games.

Maidstone United ended their run of three straight defeats with a 1-1 draw in the derby at Margate on Monday afternoon.

Following Saturday's 2-1 home defeat to Bury Town, and the collapse of the proposed takeover by Lashings, the Stones responded with their first point of the season at the fourth attempt against Gate, who lost 2-1 at Lowestoft on Saturday.

For the third game in a row Maidstone failed to hold a lead, going ahead through an unfortunate Laurence Ball own-goal on 64 minutes, only for Wayne WIlson to equalise six minutes from time to secure Gate's second point in three games.

Cray Wanderers got off the mark at the third time of asking with a 1-1 at Hastings United.

Laurent Hamici put the Wands ahead 12 minutes from the end but the hosts drew level from the spot within five minutes to secure a share of the points.
