Faversham Town salvaged a 1-1 draw at Fleet Town to stay within five points off the play-off places in Ryman League Division 1 South on Saturday.

Sittingbourne lost 4-0 at home to Worthing to fall eight points off the play-off pace.

A Mike Hucket penalty on nine minutes put the visitors ahead and some sloppy defending from Jack Hooper allowed George Gaskin to make it two on 18 minutes.

Ramsgate are up to 10th after beating Corinthian Casuals 3-1 at Southwood.

The Casuals pulled one back against the run of play on 53 minutes through Shaun Lucien and Lovell saw a penalty saved on the hour, only for Liam Quinn to ease the Rams nerves 14 minutes from time with a third goal.

Chatham Town were held to a 1-1 draw at basement boys Horsham YMCA to stay 16th.

The hosts went ahead on 25 minutes when Chats keeper James Tedder failed to hold a corner but Anthony Hogg equalised with a fine drive on the stroke of half-time.

Despite both sides creating chances after the break, they had to settle for a share of the points.

Whitstable Town were twice pegged-back to draw 2-2 with promotion-chasing Leatherhead.

Ian Pulman put the Oystermen ahead on 28 minutes, only for Mu Maan to level within 10 minutes and despite Pulman making it 2-1 10 minutes into the second half, the visitors equalised through Mark Simmonds 25 minutes from time to leave Town four points and two places clear of the relegation zone.
