Robbery at bakery

Police are appealing for information following a robbery at a Swanley bakery.

At around 2.30pm yesterday (Thursday) a man went into a bakery in College Road, Swanley and told a member of staff to open the till.

He took a kitchen knife out of his pocket as he was talking and shouted at the member of staff when she screamed.

The man then pushed the till to the floor and grabbed some cash from it before leaving the shop.

The staff member was not hurt.

The robber was white, 30 to 40 years old, and wearing a black beanie style hat, khaki coat, dark blue jeans, dirty white trainers and black gloves.
