Ripped up seat thrown from double-decker

A SEAT on a moving double-decker bus was ripped up by a vandal and thrown out of a window towards oncoming traffic.

The incident happened in Wheeler Street at Headcorn, near Maidstone.

PC Simon Powell who is investigating the incident, said: “This was a thoughtless act of vandalism which could have resulted in someone being seriously hurt."

The damaged is estimated to be about £200. It happened between 4pm and 4.10pm on Thursday, April 27.
