This has been a record year for Minster College in which all teaching subjects achieved 100 per cent pass rate at Advanced Level.

Deputy head teacher Kathleen Monaghan said this morning: "The majority of students who applied to university have successfully gained acceptance.

"Among our successes were Angharad Orwin who has gained a place at Portsmouth University to study Law, Jade Greenham has been accepted at Christchurch University, Canterbury to study nursing and Ronnie Fitzgerald has been accepted at the University of Greenwich to study engineering.

At AS level, four students gained Grade A in Citizenship and three students gained Grade A in law. Lauren Greenham gained three A grades and one C grade at AS level."
