KENT Police are hunting ram-raiders who attempted to steal a cash machine from a supermarket at Marden, near Maidstone.

Detectives believe the offenders used two vehicles to smash into the front of the Alldays store in Church Green at around 3am on Saturday morning.

The raiders fled empty-handed after they failed to remove the cash machine from inside the shop.
