Traffic built up after this 40-tonne HGV caught fire on the M20.

The lorry was carrying beer and wine on the Londonbound carriageway of the motorway this morning.

Two lanes were initially closed at the top of Wrotham Hill - but one has now re-opened and the fire put out.

Tailbacks are now down to 10 minutes.

At its height, congestion stretched back on the M20 to J3 for the M26.

It came as the Highways Agency was relaying the road, leading to the junction being closed.

A forklift truck was called to take all the beer and wine off the road, with Kent Police attending.
