Port blockade off - ferries running again

Ferries services have resumed from Dover after French fishermen called off their blockade of ports in Calais and Dunkirk.

But the protest over fishing quotas is still in place at Boulogne.

P&O has resumed a full service as far as possible, but is one ship down at present.

LD Lines has confirmed this morning its sailing is still being diverted to Dieppe. It is due to leave Dover at 12.30pm and return from Dieppe at 9pm.

Cross-channel passengers had faced disruption for two days because of action over EU cod quotas.
