Two police officers had to be cut free from their patrol car after a late-night motorway smash.
The collision, involving another car, happened on the coastbound carriageway of the M2 near junctions two shortly after 11pm last night.
The officers injuries are not life threatening. The driver of the other car also had to be cut free, but is not thought to be seriously hurt.
Three fire engines from Strood, Medway and Thameside stations were called to assist
Ambulance services were also on the scene.
Kent Police have confirmed the patrol car had been parked on the motorway hard shoulder at the time of the accident.
