Police name victim of M25 tragedy

A MAN who died after being struck by a lorry on the hard shoulder of the M25 has been named by Kent Police.

He was 45-year-old Alexander Hibbs, who came from Grahame Close, Blewbury, Oxfordshire.

The tragedy occurred on Sunday, February 3, between junctions four and five. An inquest has been opened and adjourned.

It is believed Mr Hibbs was getting out of his car on the hard shoulder of the clockwise carriageway near Chipstead when the accident happened. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
