Six months after a grandmother was killed as she crossed a pedestrian crossing, police have returned to the scene in a bid to find her killer.

Shirley Leedham, 70, was knocked down as she crossed the A20 in Harrietsham on the morning of October 9, 2008.

The driver who hit her fled the scene, sparking a massive police investigation.

Six months on and the driver has still not been found.

Now police have returned to the scene to carry out further road checks to try and jog the memory of someone who may have witnessed something important.
