Police hunt railway bridge sex attackers

A teenager has reportedly been sexually assaulted by two men in a daytime attack.

The alleged attack was on a 19-year-old man near the railway bridge in Unicumes Lane, in the Fant area of Maidstone, yesterday.

The victim claimed he was approached by two unknown men between 1pm and 4pm.

Det Insp Ian Rogerson said: “This serious assault happened in broad daylight on a lane which is regularly used by dog walkers and people using the bridge to cross the River Medway.

"Someone must have seen something and if you were in that area between 1pm and 4pm yesterday afternoon please get in touch.”

The two men are described as both white, aged in their forties and around 6ft tall. They spoke with foreign accents.

One man was wearing blue jeans, a blue shirt under a plain white long sleeved jumper, black sandals, short hair, stubbly full beard and of slight to medium build.

The second man had short black hair, dressed all in black and was of stocky build.
