A man has been charged on suspicion of being Maidstone's toilet torcher.

Luke Frech, 20, of Marigold Way, Maidstone, has been charged with three counts of arson with intent to endanger life following a number of fires in Maidstone Town Centre on Tuesday morning.

He has been remanded to appear before Maidstone Magistrates on Thursday morning.

The 20-year-old, from Barming, is being quizzed by police after being taken into custody last night.
