Police appeal for help over stolen car

KENT Police are appealing to the public for help in finding a stolen car, a silver Ford Fiesta.

It was stolen during a burglary at a property in Chalkwell Road, Sittingbourne between 8pm on December 29 and 3pm on 1 January 1. The registration number is V736KKL.

Det Con Keith Fraiser, who is heading the enquiry, said: “We think the car may be parked somewhere in the Swale area and would ask residents to keep their eyes open and contact us if they spot it.”

A 31-year-old man of no fixed home was arrested on Wednesday, January 11, in Albany Park on suspicion of burglary. He is currently in police custody.
