Park attack case boy in court

THE case of a 13-year-old boy accused of causing grievous bodily harm has been adjourned until Tuesday, October 7.

He appeared before magistrates at Chatham's youth court.

The youngster was one of three teenagers charged with the offence after 13-year-old Jack Blanchard was attacked in Parkwood Green, Rainham, in July.

The other two boys will appear before the youth court on Tuesday, November 4.

Jack Blanchard, a pupil at Rainham Mark Grammar School, was left brain-damaged and partially paralysed after the attack.
