Pair still being quizzed over stab attack

TWO men arrested in connection with a stabbing in a Kent town yesterday remain in police custody.

A 39-year-old man who was also questioned over the attack on a 29-year-old man in an alleyway by the Brook, Chatham, has now been released on bail.

The victim has now been discharged from Medway Maritime Hospital after being treated for a stab wound to the chest.

Officers continue to question a 26-year-old man from Medway and a 28-year-old man from Herne Bay, but are still appealing for information.
