Dover Athletic manager Martin Hayes is pleased Olly Schulz has decided to extend his stay at Crabble for a further year.

The 26-year-old (pictured), who joined Whites from Ramsgate in 2008, made 26 appearances in Blue Square Bet South last season, and was also a key figure in Dover’s memorable run to the third round of the FA Cup.

Hayes said: "Olly did really well at times last year, but he also probably learned a lot more as well because of the step-up in class from playing in the Ryman League to Blue Square South.

"He’s a big game player, as he showed in the cup, and gives us a lot of power in the air, but he needs to keep a bit fitter and be available for more games."
