MEDWAY and Maidstone motoring group Greens is set to create 40 jobs this spring when the company opens a state-of-the art £3million dealership.

Trading as Greens of Holborough and Maidstone Saab, the 14,000 sq ft development at Holborough on the A228 expands the company’s established Medway Vauxhall dealership and marks the return of the Saab brand after an absence of two years.

Chief executive Mike Rowe said: "We have been looking to expand our Vauxhall operation for some time and we believe we have found the perfect location at Holborough.

"With some excellent assistance from officers and members of Tonbridge and Malling council, we progressed our plans for a 12-car showroom with a 12-bay workshop and MoT facilities.

"We also concluded a deal for Saab’s return to the Maidstone area, and the new development will promote the full ranges from both Saab and Vauxhall."

Greens is well known for its Vauxhall dealership on the A2 at Rainham. In recent years the company has expanded to include Medway Autos, which consists of an Alfa Romeo dealership, an authorised Mercedes servicing centre, a new Fiat dealership and a new expanded used car showroom.
