Nathan Slade, 21, accused of attempting to murder Graham Winder in Chatham

A man has been charged with attempted murder after an alleged stabbing in Medway.

Nathan Slade is accused of stabbing Graham Winder, 26, at an address in Bryant Street, Chatham, in the early hours of Saturday.

The 21-year-old appeared before Medway magistrates this morning.

Mr Winder was taken to King's College Hospital, in London, with serious injuries, but is said to be in a stable condition.

Police were called to the address at about 12.50am and arrested Slade near the scene.

Slade, of Luton Road, Chatham, was remanded in custody and will next appear at court on Monday, August 20.
