Mum injured in motorbike crash

A MOTHER was hurled from her motorbike as her husband and son, who were travelling behind, watched in horror.

The family, from the Isle of Grain, near Rochester, was riding along Pier Approach Road at Gillingham on Sunday when the woman hit a barrier and came off.

She rolled across the road, the cycle path and the pavement and into a road sign.

When an ambulance crew arrived the woman, in her 30s, was complaining of spinal pain. She was taken to Medway Maritime Hospital on a spinal board.
