Mudslide near girls' school traps worker

A man has been taken to hospital by air ambulance after getting trapped in a mudslide in Benenden.

He was part of an excavation team working near Beneden Girls' School in Cranbrook Road when it happened this morning.

Two fire engines and the urban search and rescue team were dispatched to rescue him.

He was taken to hospital by air ambulance with multiple injuries.

The incident has been reported to Health and Safety Executive.
