MP backs Cameron over 'hoodies'

A KENT MP is supporting Conservative leader David Cameron who wants people to embrace "hoodies".

In a speech Mr Cameron is due to give on social justice this evening, he will argue that teenagers wear the clothes to 'blend in' and not to appear threatening.

The Tory chief will also tell the police they are focued on form-filling and excuse-making to prevent crime.

He will describe the police as "lacking", as he outlines the changes needed to overhaul the service.

However, he is expect in many quarters to face most criticism over his remarks on "hoodies".
